Our Goal

We are the American Society of Mechanical Engineers student chapter at Florida Atlantic University. ASME is a national non-profit organization that enables skill development and career enrichment across all engineering disciplines. We encourage all majors to join and be involved.

We were relaunched as a student organization at FAU in the Fall of 2019. We help students develop their professional identities by offering access to a wide range of activities such as competitions, workshops, socials, and tours. You can become part of a 90,000+ community of engineers, academics, researchers, and others interested in mechanical engineering. As a member, you can connect with other like-minded individuals through a broad range of ongoing networking events, volunteer and mentoring opportunities.

Joining ASME is the most important connection a current or future mechanical engineer can make.
